Custom Order Policy
At Visions Unfolding,
each custom piece is created with thoughtful care, artistry, and personalized attention to detail. Because every design is tailored specifically to the client, custom orders require dedicated creative time, material preparation, and production scheduling. To preserve the quality and care of this process, the following policy applies to all custom orders.
All custom, personalized, and made-to-order sales are final.
Deposit Requirement
To reserve your project and begin the custom design process, a non-refundable 50% deposit is required for all custom orders. The remaining balance is due in full prior to shipping or pickup.
Your deposit will be applied toward your final balance. Because each Visions Unfolding piece is individually designed and handcrafted, deposits are non-refundable once work has begun.
Custom work will not begin until the required deposit has been received.
Design Approval & Client Responsibility
Clients are responsible for reviewing all submitted details carefully, including names, dates, wording, colors, and uploaded images. Visions Unfolding is not responsible for errors submitted by the client after approval has been given.
Any requested changes after approval may result in additional charges and may extend the completion timeline.
Turnaround Time
Estimated completion times may vary depending on design complexity, seasonal demand, and the timeliness of client communication. During holidays and periods of increased order volume, turnaround times may be extended.
Final Balance
The remaining balance must be paid in full prior to shipment or delivery of the completed order. Final payment instructions will be provided once your custom piece is ready.
Cancellations
Because custom work is created specifically for each client, cancellations are subject to the following terms:
Before design work begins: the deposit remains non-refundable.
After design work has begun: the deposit remains non-refundable, and additional charges may apply based on work already completed.
After production has begun or materials have been ordered/prepared: cancellation may result in forfeiture of all payments made.
Cancellation Penalties
To protect the time, materials, and creative work invested in each custom order, the following cancellation structure applies:
Deposit paid, but design not yet started: deposit is forfeited
Design started: deposit is forfeited, and client may be responsible for up to 75% of the total order value depending on the stage of completion
Production substantially completed or finished: client may be responsible for 100% of the total order value
Non-Refundable Nature of Custom Orders
Due to the personalized nature of custom work, all custom order payments are non-refundable once design or production has begun.
Refund Policy

Refunds will not be issued for:
approved custom designs
personalized items
completed handcrafted work
delays caused by missing client information, delayed approvals, or delayed responses
If a request is canceled before design work or production begins, any refund consideration will be at the sole discretion of Visions Unfolding, less any applicable consultation, design preparation, or administrative time already invested.

Our pieces begin with beautifully sourced glass and bottle forms that may include original maker’s marks such as “1 liter,” stamped dots, or faint text on the underside or back. These impressions are often gently minimized through hand-painting and embellishment; however, slight traces may still be visible.
These subtle features reflect the authenticity of the base material and are embraced as part of the piece’s character.
All items with these natural impressions are final sale.
